My story ‘Involuntary Donation’ has finally appeared in Avis magazine (delayed from the summer), out of Manchester Metropolitan University. I got a copy of the journal in the post today. I’m impressed with the quality of work I’ve read so far (I don’t include my story in this comment!).

My flash fiction ‘Involuntary Donation’ will appear in print thanks to Avis Magazine; their new issue is out this month. I will also be reading the piece in central Manchester at the end of the month – details to be confirmed.
I didn’t make the shortlist mentioned below, but remain thrilled to have been selected for the longlist, and have been told that Pin Drop are still considering my story for a future use. Any news will be posted here.

My short story ‘The Miracle Man’ has just been longlisted for the RA & Pin Drop Short Story Award, with a short list to be announced soon. The prize giving will be Friday June 24th at the Royal Academy of Arts, London. I’m thrilled to have been chosen for the longlist, and would be even more excited to make the shortlist and go to the event – so fingers crossed!
